Oceanwide Expeditions is a full member of the International Asociation of Antarctic Touroperators (IAATO), a member member organization founded in 1991 to advocate, promote and practice safe and environmentally responsible private-sector travel to the Antarctic.

In the Arctic we play an active role in the WWF Arctic program and participate in the 'Clean up Svalbard' project.
